The following information has been supplied by Boughton Monchelsea parish council:
Subject: Local needs affordable housing in Boughton Monchelsea
I have been asked to get in touch with you regarding our local needs affordable housing in Boughton Monchelsea. Crest Nicholson are currently building 85 new properties at Lyewood Farm in Green Lane and 34 of these will be local needs affordable homes. Priority will obviously be given to those living in or with the relevant connection to Boughton Monchelsea but if the homes aren’t all filled the area will be widened to adjacent parishes before extending out (in the case of affordable rented homes) to the general Maidstone housing list. We wondered whether you would mind advertising this to your parishioners in case there’s anybody who might be interested.
Further detail is available on our website but I have extracted the relevant information – please see below and attached.
Thanks very much for your help with this.

Update on shared ownership homes – May 2019
Crest Nicholson have advised that the Housing Association for the Lyewood Farm housing development is Town & Country Housing Group (TCHG). TCHG have been given copies of all the register of interest forms the Parish Council have received to date but you can also register your interest directly with them, if you wish, via their website https://lovelivinghomes.co.uk/buy-happy/ (click the Register Interest button at the bottom of their page). If you register directly with TCHG please make sure you have also sent the Parish Council a copy of the below form as this will ensure your local connection to Boughton Monchelsea is registered.
TCHG advise that the handover date for the shared ownership properties is likely to be October 2021 and they will contact all people who have registered an interest around 3 months before this date.
All applicants must be registered and approved by the Help to Buy agent BPHA to confirm their eligibility for shared ownership and they must meet the criteria for shared ownership https://www.helptobuyese.org.uk/help-to-buy/shared-ownership
If you have any further queries on the shared ownership homes at Lyewood Farm please get in touch with Town & Country Housing Group.
